Job Requirements:
a. Educational Background
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
b. Technical Knowledge / Job Description
- 3+ years programming experience with PHP.
- Work experience with PHP5.
- Maintains existing marketing contents.
- Experience providing technical leadership on a development team.
- Excellent analytical, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Has led a development team for web-based system(s)
- Understanding of Relational databases, OOP, and Web/Software development life cycle.
- Experience working on Unix machines.
- System Administration skills are highly desired.
- Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript, SQL, XML, DOM (AJAX), Apache and other web programming languages.
- Past experience developing PHP solutions to support high-traffic websites.
c. Personal Qualifications
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to learn beyond professional training.
- Ability to write system and functional specifications.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
- Love of open source development and standards-based development.
- C++/JAVA skills is a plus
