We recently made the switch to a full web conference system and it’s been great. Before this, we tried to do a joint system using a web system to exchange data and visual aids while using the phone system to give the actual presentation or meeting. This was a nightmare since we had to constantly halt the presentation to send computer data and fix tech errors.
Getting a comprehensive web conference system has worked substantially better for us. For one thing, we were able to put the audio presentation and data transfer on one network instead of juggling between them. Also, we haven’t had a technical problem yet with the system.
We had been hesitant to make the full switch, since I’d heard horror stories from friends about these systems, both technically and financially, but this one that we use has been great, reliable and affordable. I highly recommend making the upgrade to an rhub system like we use.
