Can't Open Websites in IE7

  #1
Jul 1st, 2008
I'm having a problem opening certain websites in IE7 such Yahoo, CBS Sportsline, TMZ; by the way I have Windows XP.

When I try to open Google it leads to the following URL (http://support.microft.com/kb/281679/EN-US/) and a blank screen...with stalled green search bars at the bottom.

I’ve attempted all the usual spyware protection programs and even tried to do a system restore back to a date before this started.

Anybody have any idea what I could do next?

What happens when you click the Home button? I had a similar problem when I first upgraded.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for replying! When I hit home nothing, everything freezes.
