Using MySQL in VB.NET

  #1
Jul 6th, 2008
In most of my VB.NET applications, I connect to MySQL databases using the MySQL ODBC Driver.

Recently, I got to know about the MySQL Connector (again provided by MySQL).

Which one is better in terms of-

a. Performance
b. Security

I can only say that Connector should be better in terms of performance as it is only for MySQL.
