Webpage Layout in VS 2008

  #1
Jul 8th, 2008
Ok, I know I've asked this before but am yet to get a convincing answer.

Unlike VS 2005, its very difficult to position controls as desired (at required location) in VS 2008.

The Absloute Layout thingy does not seem to work correctly.

What is the best way to go about the positioning in VS 2008?

Especially when a master page is used, the Content Place Holder just seems to be of single line height. Are the <br /> tags to be added manually in the Source?

I am not good with HTML and use the Designer View.

dont use absolute layout. Ever!

this is probably gonna be the answer you will get everwhere but simply spending a day learning HTML/CSS coding practices will reap the rewards.
