Network Problem

Hi members,
I have a very serious problem here, my computer doesnot connect to the network(internet).
But it's connected to the LAN, when i point to the network icon on the task bar it tells me it's acquiring the IP Address. For over one day now i can connect to the internet. Please members help me solve this problem.

change your ip address thru the properties of your network you can change it by changing your last 3 digits number
