What is the best way to provide remote support to my clients? Note security and annual costs are my main concerns.

You should try out a web conferencing appliance like RHUB - http://www.rhubcom.com/ - as it is the most secure form of web conferencing and since its an appliance, you just have to pay the upfront cost of buying the appliance. After that there is no monthly charge like the hosted solutions and hence you end up saving a lot of money in the long run.
