Hi I just installed a new hard drive on my laptop and up graded from windows xp to xp professional. Trouble is I can get internet through a LAN cable from my wireless router but no wireless. My laptop can connect to my network but cannot obtain an ip address. Any other laptop I boot up has no problem connecting. All the drivers were loaded up during installation ad I cannot find any upgrades from the websites.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Stuart

Remove the device in Device Manager...in Safe Mode if necessary. Power it off. Power it back on and let the PnP subsystem do its thing and redetect it. Offer it drivers if necessary. This may take several reboots.
