seems that on my toshiba satellite windows might be corrupted or something and i dont have th packed in boot disc to restart it on. it gets to the startup of windows and then it doesnt start up.. it just resets the laptop and its a loop of that nothing else happens and i dont know how to fix it without the start up disc or if there even is a way to fix it without the startup disc.... would very much appreciate help here.
You may need to fix your master boot record (MBR). if you have an xp install disk, boot with this disk, run the recovery console (or if you hit F10 to run the recovery console you might be able to get there), and do a fixmbr...........if you do not know how to do this, let me know and I will post the detailed process! Good luck to you!
