Background, Sony Vaio, Windows xp, IE6, using remote computer on my home network...I am not very computer savvy... while in AOL I will need to go to a secure web site ie; online banking etc. which requires an Internet Explorer connection...frequently, all I get is "can not display page" (cannot find server) error message. AOL tells me to go to keyword "browserfix" which requires a computer restart....sometimes this works and after the restart (which is most time consuming) I am able to my IE6 connection. Other times I have to unplug the router and replug during the restart process...Can anyone help me to fix this problem so I don't have to go through this cumbersome process?
