 My computer needs a doctor and I need a therapist!
I installed the PAE-CE84 ADSL Router on my computer running WinXP Pro connecting to BT Broadband and found that MSN Messenger wouldnt work neither would my htomail account load on IE6 SP1.
After much research I found a few solutions one was to install HiJack This to catch any blood sucking IE6 additions (which I found and fixed) the other was a firmware update for the router to allow me to disable the internal firewall!
Once all done MSN still didnt work and neither did Hotmail but everything else was dandy!
Then a suggestion that I should try and re-install WinXP Pro to fix any errors...
Now IE6 is giving me a "cannot find server" error and I cannot access my router because of this.
My Internet connection is working because I can access searchs through Win MediaPlayer...
I am very close to taking a hammer to all of it!!!!!
Is there ANYONE with ANY suggestions besides the Hammer method???!!!!
