Word 2007 - Reference Images Within Document

Hey everyone,

I am aware that if you change the file extension on .docx files to .zip, then you can open it up. I am also aware that if you save images to a word document, it gets saved within this file structure at word/media/....
What I am wondering is if it is possible to manually insert images into this location and then add them to word documents as needed. I am trying to create a word macro that will create a table, which has a few images in it, when a button is pushed. Any help in this would be great.

Thanks,

Nick
