There are multiple programs running which have to do with your ThinkPad, since I frankly am not certain which of these are absolutely required I have left them off this list.

Here are those I see which are not needed or required for easy running of the computer;
EZEJMNAP>>>The IBM ThinkPad EasyEject Utility makes removing multiple devices from your computer faster and easier by enabling you to stop more than one device at once, rather than stopping each device individually". Available via Start -> Programs
ATIPTA>>>Control panel for the ATI series of video cards allowing access to such features as display resolution, colour depth, etc. Available via Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display. Some users may need it if they have optimised their settings
QuickTime Task>>>
System Tray access to Apple's "Quick Time" viewer from version 5 onwards
a-squared>>> a-Squared antitrojan - can be run on demand but necessary in Startup if you prefer the a² 'Background Guard' real time protection feature AND if you are running the PAID version. If you do not have the PAID version then this is doing nothing but running.
Spybot - Search & Destroy>>>no reason at all this should be running all the time. It is a scanner program.
SpybotDeletingA7947>
SpybotDeletingB5224>
SpybotDeletingD7717>
have no idea in the world what these items are. They seem to be running in order to delete the following:psqlpwd.dll_old which is a ThinkVantage Logon Stub Module from UPEK Inc. belonging to ThinkVantage Fingerprint Potector Suite. Do you know what these are?
Adobe Gamma Loader>>>Adjusts monitor colours across all programs, including Photoshop. It is needed by some graphics professionals who want their monitor calibrated.
Digital Line Detect>>>Detects whether your are plugged into a digital telephone line and displays the information graphically.
Viewpoint Manager Service>>>automatic updates for ViewPoint products such as ViewPoint Media Player (as bundled with AOL, AOL Instant Messenger, Compuserve, etc). Can be run manually via Start -> Settings -> Control Panel by enabling auto-updates temporarily, re-booting and then disabling again
iPod Service>>>This service is used by Itunes for using your Ipod and can be run manually.
For ease of turning off these auto starts I recommend either one of these FREE programs;
Mike Lin's StartUp Control Panel
This one is quite simple but doesn't really have the features of the next one, which is
CodeStuffStarter
I think I would recommend you download CodeStuff Starter but both programs noted are FREE.
CodeStuff Starter will allow you to also stop unnecessary Services in an easy manner also and that is how Viewpoint Manager Service is starting.
Download CodeStuff Starter and begin with the StartUps Tab. Remove the check marks next to those noted. Then proceed to the Services Tab and take the Check mark out of
Viewpoint Manager Service and iPod Service.
Once you have removed all those check marks then reboot the computer.
Run a new HJT scan and post it here.
