It's a good idea to, and to use it regularly. Ever since I have started using Adaware and Spybot on a weekly basis, I have had very little problems with spyware on my computer. I also has Spywareblaster installed also. And also be sure to keep each program updated regularly, or it won't do you much good. Between Adaware, Spybot, Spywareblaster, and a good antivirus program, you should be ok.
