WOW, i am impressed with the speed in which you responded. Thank you very much.

TBH before i read your reply i had realised that by removed kdhum.exe and the registry entries that somehow i had made things worse. So i did a system restore back to the combofix system restore. So you can pretty much disregard the last paragraph of my first post. I then removed combofix as you said. Although i got no prompt it just automatically removed.
Sorry i should have mentioned at the start im using vista.

I did what you said by disabling the services. BUT the Windows tribute Service one was very strange. When i changed it to disabled, it automatically changed back to automatic. So i changed it to disabled again and it automatically changed back to automatic. So i changed it to disabled again and then i got this message:

"This specified service does not exist as an installed service"

"Windows was unable to query status for service Windows Tribute Service. The remote connection on local computer has been broken."

And guess what, yep it had changed back to automatic.

Anyway i plowed on. Did the malwarebytes scan. Here's the log:
