I am working on the website http://www.dooitt.com.

I was wondering if some one could suggest improvements it.
Anything in the lines of:
What you disliked?
What you Liked?
Any technology/techniques to improve the site's layout...
How to get it to appear on Search Engines faster without paying a lot of money?
etc..

Any suggestions would be well appreciated.

Top Header - Solid blue is a bit much. Possibly add some line drawings of the merchandise making it look more like a blueprint.

Side Menu - Black on dark gray is hard to read. Try matching it to your top menu.

Main page product photos - make them the same size so all the boxes align.

Product detail pages. Text under photo is left aligned too close to the border, needss little space, maybe 5 pixels.

Contact Us/Signup pages - change mandatory to required.

On Signup page why are you asking for their website? Joe Schmoe in his garage ordering a part most likely does not have a website.
Too much space between the name of the field and the entry area. Also entry fields could be larger.

Copyright statement at bottom, change the color of the text to #e8e8e8

Overall, nice job on the site.
