> *Please use on Mozilla Firefox only
Why?
It's worse than saying IE only.
Good websites shouldn't care about the users' browser.

2. The contrast on the "treasure map" background is too high. The actual text is hard to read in a few places.

3. http://www.studentschillout.com/geekslounge.php
Having text which changes size on mouse-over causes all sorts of problems. Especially for long strings in a table, which then spill over to two lines just because you move the mouse.

  1. Your Logo would look a thousand times better if you didn't have that wierd spray can still outline round the text.
  1. As has already been said... get rid of the mouseover text changing size and firefox only!? That gets rid of 80% of your audience in one sentence.
  1. The animated favicon is just annoying and I can't read what it says anyway.
  1. You should have the same header (with the same navigation) for every page.
  1. Is your page centered or left justified? decide and use it.
  1. For a new site the word REGISTER should stick out not be in small text.
  1. You should not have that background image to forum posts and don't use comic sans! please.

From a designers point of view, that's what i think. It really is mainly small things and everything above is easy to change... unless your website doesn't work at all in IE.

Thank you for the valuable Feed Back..
We removed the forum posts background..
Regarding comic Sans .. as it is students related website.. we assumed that comic sans font would be cool for the site.

We are working on the browser issues and other things now.

Thanks fr the valuable feedback once again.

I wouldn't assume that. I am a student, maybe slightly older than your target audience but if you are aiming at say 13 - 16 year olds then that font is probably a bit patronising. Have a look at other sites aimed at a similar audience and you will see.

Student Room
Myspace
Facebook
Student Forum
Teen Forums

They all use a clean sans-serif font.

I'm glad you have removed the background image!

The site lacks continuity and the design is not inviting.

For the type of site of site you are trying to create you would be much better off just using Joomla or Drupal and one of their free themes.

I would highly recommend starting there.
