J, my Laptop & our other PC are clean Obviously the were off at the time of the infection !
I tried connecting to the net in both Safe & Normal modes on the infected PC ,but could not get on any sites on Explorer & only on 3 of my most visted on Firefox ,if I try to visit any other sites I get error messages i.e 404 or could not connect etc .
It's really looking like formatting the hard drive is the only way out of this ,because the PC won;t open the thumb drive it just freezers up! can I boot from the pen drive to get Malware bytes on to the PC?cant install Malwarebyes from Pen Drive or a CD , Installion sequence runs but I can't find it in progams? won't let in install HJT either,although I did install VundoFix ,but it found nothing ,everytime the PC boots the syptoms are different are there any obvious keys I could look for in the Registry??........Jim
