Yeah but like i said, it doesnt matter. You can always let it use the whole disk, then shrink the windows parition (either with its disk management menu, or with a recent linux distribution) , allowing you to install linux in the free space created.

What is termed arkitecture, hard drive size I would think you have at least 100GB HD If so you can partiion the HD use one of the Patiition programs that boot from PC Bios Linux is best as the first OS but as far as it goes it will make no difference to you as you will get a choise of what OS you want to start.
