My new Pay per answer site! Criticism needed!
I just launched this website today, and am looking for reviews, criticism, advice and ideas.

Looks like a good start. I've found there are always more opportunities to expand, change, etc. as you grow, but here's a quick review.
The Good
* The design is very sharp and attractive. I felt like I was going to a professional site.
* I love the popups for login and signup.
* Good idea - it seems like something you can monetize -- and maybe you can solve cscgirl's problem by being a foreign advertiser to bring in more content.
The Bad:
* My initial reaction to the front page (while good as mentioned above), may not be exactly what you're looking for. Because of the confined layout, I was expecting it to be a site that sold a single product or service, not a site with tons of Q/A content.
* Front page is also a little empty. You have some Q/A at the bottom right, but it could probably be more central. If I see questions and answers I should already know what the site is without needing your explanation.
* Small - line up the registration form. You can right or left justify the text (there are actual studies on which is the best for signups), but make sure the input boxes line up.
Remember -- This is the opinion of only one person! See what some others have to say and take it all into consideration together.

I agree with bgeisel1, it looks good, but doesn't really fit with what your doing.
A few other things
-Move the "top questions" on the homepage, and make them bigger
-Capitalize everything-- it looks very unprofessional
-Move the "Not Readable? Change Text." so that it is aligned to the center, underneath the image
-Line up the fields on the sign up form and move the "Not Readable? Change Text." to match the other form
-If you can, remove the "design by ..." at the bottom

grey text on black ground is not visually friendly, traditional print is dark on light, it is to do with the eye, not aesthetics
W3C standards exclude fixed fonts, a "professional" site should be compliant.
your text is a less than 1mm blur on my monitor
fixed pixel sizes are not used for other elements, your site develops horizontal scroll bars at less than fullscreen, and would be extremely difficult to navigate on a handheld device
ems % are the onscreen measures

well, thanks to all the constructive criticism i got. I changed the theme which currently seems a little dull because of the black header(i am getting a custom header made for it). I hope you like this one
I am buying rights to remove the footer links, and am even money to get a custom template built for it.
