I am looking at a new task manager that indicates HijackThis owns many processes. Why is this? Why is HijackThis continuing to run even after I reboot my system?

That's strange-
Please post a screenshot (of readable resolution) of Task Manager's process window, or just post the names of the processes that are listed as being "owned" by HJT.
