Does anyone know if it is possible to connect a machine temporarily to a SBS2008 SBS machine to fulfil windows updates.
The idea is to utilise our own SBS WSUS to update clients machines after they have cleared the usual security scans and thenreturn them back to normal settings. Probably what I need is a registry hack or proxy settings - must admit the idea should be possible but I dont have a clue where to start!
I am trying to reduce download requirements and if our WSUS is fully populated as it is - it doesnt make sense to be downloading the same stuff day after day.
Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help with this conundrum!
