I have this problem. my friends unit has no display and power led is blinking and fan turns on then off and turns again... but no display... whats the prob? can u pls help me?

Possible pwablem on ur Pc....:
* Deffective Power Supply...
* Memory Card Problem, Loose or Dead Memory..
* Power switch is stuck-up..
* Loose card or connector on your mother board..
* Deffect on your PC power cord or power AVR..

Does the power supply led normally blink, if so you could have an issue with your graphics card or monitor, have you tried another monitor with the computer to see if that is the issue.

Otherwise I would open the case and check the RAM etc to see if it is dirty. I had a similar issue recently. Problem was solved by pulling the RAM and thoroughly cleaning the contacts and then putting it back in.

Any beep sounds, what is the monitor LED status...etc
