I try to log into my Window Live Messenger using Pidgin but doesn't work. I use the MSN to log in. Is there any different between MSN and Wiindow Live Mesnger? I also try using Wine to load the Window Live Messenger but fail to work. Is there anyway I can make to work?

I've used pidgin in the past, and it works fine for me. The MSN option is correct when using a live account (e.g. hotmail, msn). If you are sure you credentials are correct, it may be a networking issue (e.g. ports).
