| Re: frmwrk32.exe? How's things now? |

| Re: frmwrk32.exe? Things are okay...a bit ago, zonealarm asked me if I wanted to allow a.exe access to the internet. I looked it up and it seemed sketchy, so I denied it access. It's in my system32 file, and I scanned it with malwarebyes and AVG, neither of which had a problem with it, but I don't trust it...it's even got a scary little triskelion icon shape. What should I do with it? |

| Re: frmwrk32.exe? 2 Attachment(s) See if you can manually delete it. If it will not delete, post back. Please use the Internet Explorer browser (or FireFox with IETab), and do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner Note: If you have used this particular scanner before, you MAY HAVE TO UNINSTALL the program through Add/Remove Programs before downloading the new ActiveX component Click Yes, when prompted to install its ActiveX component. (Note.. for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the "Accept" button of the license, click on the "Zoom" tool located at the bottom right of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license has been accepted, reset to 100%.) The program launches and downloads the latest definition files.
There is no option to clean/disinfect, however, we need to analyze the information on the report. Attachment 8657 Attachment 8658 To obtain the report: Click on: Save Report As (above - red blinking arrow) Next, in the Save as prompt, Save in area, select: Desktop In the File name area, use KScan, or something similar In Save as type, click the drop arrow and select: Text file [*.txt] Then, click: Save Please post the Kaspersky Online Scanner Report in your reply. |

| Re: frmwrk32.exe? You need to clear the Java cache. To clear the Java Plug-in cache:
There are three options on this window to clear the cache.
Did that a.exe file delete ok? |

| Re: frmwrk32.exe? Not sure about the log-on. Is there a disc to install the software for that? Your log looks ok now though. |

| Re: frmwrk32.exe? There is quite possibly a cd for that, but I'm not sure. If there is, it's at school, approximately 500 miles away. I guess I'll just have to wait in suspensful expectation until I go back next month. Thanks again. You're the best. : ) |
