MalwareRemovalBot is a fraudulent security program so you have probably made matters worse.

If I were you I would try a system restore back to a time when your pc was working ok and these programs were not installed.
I have no idea what changes regcure has made and what effect those changes have had.

Ok first of all i want to thatnk crunchie for looking into my problem.

I got my problem fixed it was not a virus problem after all.

I think my problem was more of a MTU problem.

I downloaded a TCP program called Dr. TCP from http://www.dslreports.com/tools it has a on line testing tool also it helped me to reconfigure my settings.

Once i did this i was able to access all the windows based websites.

Once again thank you for your time and effort crunchie with this problem.

What settings were keeping you from accessing Microsoft sites? This may solve my similar problem as well

i believe it was 2 things

1. my tcp recieve setting was really low for my dsl connection

2. i changed my mtu to 1492 that seemed to help alot

I am not sure what ur problem is but it is worth a try.
