Ad Insertion Specialist with Adwords and Adsense Experience
 

Our client, a leading Internet and Video On Demand provider, is looking for an Ad Insertion Specialist, preferably with experience in Google and/or Yahoo advertising. The position offers excellent compensation and provides solid growth potential. Please find the position description below:

Required Skills and Experience:

- 1+ years Ad Insertion application experience

- 1+ years Online (www) advertising technical experience

- General computer and information technology aptitude

- Experience with reviewing and troubleshooting from logs

- Experience as liaison in facilitating troubleshooting and trouble resolution

- Ability to adapt to changing environment

- Ability to multi-task

- Good communication and writing skills

- MS Excel, MSWord and Windows applications


Desired Skills and Experience:

- Professional Audio/ Video experience

- Associates/Bachelors of Science or Technology

- Experience with SeaChange or other advertising placement platform

- Strong DOS command line knowledge



Position Responsibilities:

General Overview:

Specialist will work in the Ad Insertion Video Content Management Center and will be responsible for ensuring Ad Insertion system quality and availability. Will administer the Ad Insertion Applications and evaluate error logs in order to identify and work to resolve hardware/software/network issues that hinder success, including preventative maintenance efforts. The Specialist will be responsible for video, schedule, and verification flow, and system configurations as needs change. The Specialist is expected to escalate problems/questions to management and work with other operations teams.



Duties:

Monitor SeaChange SPOT system services for stability and successful splicing.
Monitor content ingest and copy performance across the long haul network
Identify application or network problems related to Ad Insertion success
Identify possible hardware failure/corruption
Interface with Tier II Ad Insert support supervisor for failure identification

Run reports/tools to identify possible problems for real time analysis

Explore all customer inquiries and complaints

Work with internal and external suppliers and customers to ensure timely trouble resolution

Interface with Vendor(s) and Internal help desk to troubleshoot equipment failure
Monitor all Al services during any maintenance activity
Run reports/tools identifying possible problems for real time analysis
Insure verification logs are successfully relayed to Traffic and Billing system
Ongoing validation of technical as run rates
Ongoing validation of proper long haul network path

Ongoing validation of connection to Ad Sales & Traffic and Billing system

Escalate problems/questions up to management/National Operations
