Re: Just re-did the site, think it looks better...input? Looked great...really colourful, bright, and clean... I had a problem understanding what it was all about? Why are there links to a recipe site, computer forum, and a free program on your homepage. Are these sites related?

Re: Just re-did the site, think it looks better...input? Haha, yeah...i guess that is a little confusing. Basically, i'm into web design as well as making programs/software stuff...so the links on the first page are all websites that i've worked on... Thank you SO much for the input!

Re: Just re-did the site, think it looks better...input? Some small tips: * Try out CSS in your design. Google or search wikipedia about it. You can even create nice roll-over effects for your buttons with CSS. * Your buttons are way too big in file size for what they contain. It's only blue and white. If you don't have an image edit program yet, I suggest you to get The Gimp (it's free) and save the images as png 8 bit. With the 'save for web' plugin you can create even better file size adjustments. And while I'm at it, try out PNGGauntlet (free) to compress the png images to the max without losing quality. * You might want to add some more info into your html for search engines, like keywords and content. Search google about SEO optimization. * The header/logo could use a nice (attractive) image. But watch out to not make it an stretched, annoying or too big in file size image. * When you get further in building websites you might want to look into PHP for dynamic webpages, Javascript for more functionality and MySQL to get a database running which you can fill with info about what pages your visitors browse and what they download. * Nice place with info about building websites is: http://www.w3schools.com/ Have fun building on the website!
