Senior Web Designer
 

We are currently seeking a Senior Web Designer to assist us with a major refresh of our current site. This will be a 3 month contract position to start, but may afford the opportunity for full-time employment in the future.

Senior Web Designer_ Specific Job Requirements
• Strong design experience. 5+ years experience in web interface and layout design
• 3+ years of Information Architecture and/or Usability Testing experience
• Web design portfolio that displays
o an understanding of user-centered design.
o experience with complex websites. (Experience with subscription based websites preferred).
• Good understanding and up-to-date practices of HTML/CSS, with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies
• Flash experience
• Experience designing a website that is implemented using a CMS
• experience designing dynamic interfaces with client-side validation, including some understanding of JavaScript
• Willingness to work closely with information architects, copywriters, developers and others to produce a team-driven end product that leads to a top-notch user experience
• Attention to detail, while also considering the big picture
• Availability to work on site at our office in Del Mar
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with positive attitude

CSS, Flash, HTML, XML, Strong design background, Web design
