| Re: "search results" Window Keeps POPING UP NEW WINDOWS OVER 47 TIMES Download a copy of HijackThis and save it to your desktop in a folder. Do a scan and save the HijackThis logfile. Do not remove anything. Post your log file here. Link to HijackThis: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Trend_Micr...his_d5554.html Myself or another member will take a look at whats running on your system! |

| Re: "search results" Window Keeps POPING UP NEW WINDOWS OVER 47 TIMES Good to see you using a software firewall but i cant see an Antivirus running on your system. Do you have one installed? Please run HiJackThis.exe file, do a scan, Place checks next to the below entries in the code and close all browser and other windows except for HijackThis, and click "Fix Checked". O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file) After completion do another scan (new) and send my the log! |

So i called them for them to inform me that the HP "Tattoe" is bad.... Equil to the BIOS chip to say in laymans terms. Its their FU Chip, spend your money message... Yes I am Quite PO'ed. SO ofcorse, its OUT OF WARRENTEE. SO I have to bust out the bucks to buy a new OS. SO at the end of our chat session, They asked if I was thinking of purchasing a NEW SYSTEM, so to vent my frustrations, I told them YES! BUT NOT A HP! Disconnect Chat session! So here I sit. | Re: "search results" Window Keeps POPING UP NEW WINDOWS OVER 47 TIMES Have you got one of those keyboards with buttons like pause, refresh, standby search etc... I had one and for some reasonn whenever it was plugged in, linux kept refreshing firefox. Plugged in a standard one and it worked fine And you dont need a new whole new OS necesarially. All windows CDs are the same. The thing that you actually pay for is the licence + prouct key. Borrow an xp cd of the same edition + service pack off someone. If its a retail version, enter the product key on the sticker on the side of your pc, when it prompts you. If its an OEM version, use a program called nlite to change the product key to yours, then burn a new windows cd |
