simple problem
 

Hi there
i have a window(A) which has a button which when clicked opens a new window(B) which is for authentication tht is for username and password once the username and password r validated a new window should open in the first window(A) how can i achive this please help

once the user & pass is validated in window b, use javascript to close (B) and refresh window(A).

Window a then has a script to check the user credentials again and then uses the php header() function to move to a different page if the user is logged in...
