DaniWeb Contest Events

Greetings,

DaniWeb is considering holding monthly contests, and we are looking for people who are willing to donate prizes. Prizes don't necessarily have to be costly, such as gift certificates. Gift certificates are the perfect solution when you can't find the one item someone is looking for. People are always looking to upgrade their computer or components to help overclock their CPU; that's what PC Component, Inc and Jab-tech.com are for, and both with flexible gift certificate options.
Gift certificates range from interest, for instance Amazon.com, PC Gear Online, or even Computergeeks.com where they sell products such as computers parts, books, and so forth. Prizes don't have to reside to gift certificates, as there are many other options to choose from.

In fair exchange, your site will be linked to in our contest details, and possibly gain a small amount of advertising on DaniWeb. DaniWeb is a large community and advertising is a big key. An additive incentive could gain you a DaniWeb Advertising Campaign, depending upon generosity of the prize. If you have further questions, please feel free to ask.

How about services?

I could authorize free 6-month RV-200 accounts ($55 value).

Let me know.

I could offer 6 month FREE subscription to my teen forums, although the forums are only available to people under 19 years old.

Greetings,

radv: Services sounds like a reasonable idea, and a very generous offer at that. Do you know how long your offer stands, or can it be authorized at any time?

Young Teck 06: I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the offer.

If I have further questions pertaining the current offer(s), would it be possible for me to contact you?

Stack Overflow,

I will be able to authorize this at any time. When someone wins at the end of the month email me and I will have someone contact them to setup their account.

Umm, i can offer a webhosting plan for a year.
(contact me for details)

And later on when the site is up and running (and preferably popular) hwguru will be a hardware review site. So perhaps a few choice items that have been reviewed can be offered up as prizes.
Either that or i would normally sell them on eBay.
Could prove mutually beneficial.
Products reviewed will vary from a heatsink to CCFL's, fans, grills to mice and keyboards up to PC Cases, hard drives, webcams and various other computer related kit.
Depending how its arranged, I will be reviewing a fair quantity of equipment and could provide for many competitions, perhaps cocurrently running competitions of different types such as a php competition at the same time as a C++ competition or a graphics design banner add competition.
Who knows..
