New to Ruby
 

Hi I am new to ruby and these forums. I am interested in using Ruby on Rails and was wondering if anybody could tell me any good books that would help me. Also do I need to know any other languages before starting rails. Thanks!

Maybe you can learning Phyton before started ruby cause ruby interactive is familiar with phyton.

Use this site to learn some ruby basic online with exmaples ... once you got the basic steps on how it works download some ruby rails on your pc...
