spybot german error message
 

when i start spybot i get a message that says this "Fehler bei EinfÜgen von Rich edit-Zeile" i have been getting the same kind of message when trying to use Ad-aware SE but the difference is i can open spybot but i can't open Ad-aware SE. so i now use ad-aware 6. but i would still like to know what it means.

A quick translation with Babelfish brings up "Error when inserting Rich edit line".

Hang in there- I remember running across this exact problem/message about 2 months ago, but I won't be able to dig back for the information until tomorrow.

i am also getting the same type of message for ad-aware SE personal. maybe they are related

Alex, sometimes ya just gotta be more creative in your Googling... :p

The "Dreaded German Error Message" seems to indicate problems with one or more Windows files related to Rich Text editing/manipulation.

thank you for the info now it works. to make it easyier for anyone else with the same problem search for riched32.dll on the internet and download the file to your windows/systems folder. i think you can also get it from your windows me/98 disk.
