| Google Maps HELP please. Hey all,
I'm trying to get Google Maps on my website and I'm not exactly sure what todo. I got an API key from Google and then some coding but I don't know what todo with it. The reason I want Google Maps on my website is because I want my customers to know how to get to the store from all over florida. If anyone could help that would be awesome. Thank you. |

| Re: Google Maps HELP please. You can easily embed a Google Map on your website.
- Go to http://www.google.com/maps
- Select the "My Maps" tab
- Click the "Create new map" button
- Sign in (create a google account if you need to)
- Pan, zoom and add placemarks/lines/shapes to create the map you want and save it
- Select "Link to this page" at the top right of the map
- Choose "Customize and preview embedded map"
- Specify the height and width of the map in pixels and zoom/pan to obtain the view you want to be displayed.
- Copy and paste the generated HTML into your own webpage
The map will then appear on your webpage. I'd make a map that contains a placemark showing the location of your business, then users can zoom/pan around the map to find out how to get there from wherever they want.
Good luck! |
