how to secure your windows XP

i'm running my windows Xp i want to know more about gpedit.msc. what are the things that can we do in the gpedit.msc

It all depends what you whant to do. In a nutshell its almost as if you the admin "recreating" rights decisions in the OS.Basically giving right/access
