Dell Dimension 4600 display help

I just bought a dvi-vga converter for my Dell Dimension 4600. I have a GeForce FX 5200 graphics card. When I connect the converter along with my monitor I get a black screen with no input. How do I properly configure these settings.

I've updated my driver, but it says that I have two analog monitors, but I have one analog and one digital
