| Do I have a Virus, Spyware, or other Nasty? Hi everyone, I recently downloaded the latest version of AVG and haven't had a problem with this version until yesterday. When I tried to open the interface to run a scan it would say: "We're sorry but AVG Interface has encountered a problem and needs to close."I am still havign this problem today, and I can't access anything on the AVG Menu. The update still appears to be working and when I do an online search, AVG continues to tell me whether the websites are safe. So what exactly is the problem here? I have run Spybot and AdAware to see if I had anything and both scans came up clean. Is this a problem on my computer or with AVG? Here is my Hijack This log.... (Any help is GREATLY appreciated!) Hi cris06 well buddy i have learned in the past that adware 08 and avg 08 seem not to be compatible i have no idea why 2 year ago spybot wasn't compatible either with adware my advise is this remove your adware and your avg then reinstall avg 08 from filehippo.com your avg might be corrupt ? |
