cannot open Internet Explorer

I deleted some files yesterday and now I cannot open Internet Explorer and Windows Update will not connect. I cannot access the internet so I am unable to download any repair software. I hope someone has a solution for me. Thanks

Welcome :)

Have you tried running SFC and letting it restore the deleted files??

Goto START/RUN and enter: sfc/scannow (Restore all deleted files you can (If you dont know which ones are needed))
