| I know you've seen this before Hello everyone, this is my first time here. I've been looking online for a solution and decided it was best to just ask here. I've been deployed for the past 6 months and have come home to a slow computer and internet searches that redirect to totally different sites. I looked up and downloaded Highjackthis and my log is posted below. I don't really know to much so if there's anyone who can help, I would really apperciate it. Thanks in advance. | Re: I know you've seen this before Hi reggman99, Welcome Home! and welcome to daniweb, First of all, you appear to running TWO antivirus programs or at least portions of two; Both McAfee and Norton. An absolute NO-NO. The rule is ONE antivirus program on a computer. You must first UNINSTALL one of these. Your choice. If one is expired then that will decide it, if BOTH are expired then I would say UNINSTALL BOTH and choose an new one. There are some excellent FREE ones recommended here on daniweb; Antivirus Avast – http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html AVG – http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 Nod32 – http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm (this one isn't free but reasonably priced) You have to decide on the Anti-virus program first and install or uninstall. But that is first. Having two would certainly slow the computer AND lessen your protection. After you have done that then do the following; Please Download ATF-Cleaner.exe by Atribune • You can put ATF-Cleaner on your Desktop for easy access. Click on ATF-Cleaner to run it -- Where it says Select Files To Delete, Check the Select All Option -- Click Empty Selected > OK For Firefox browser, do this also: * Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All from the list. * Click the Empty Selected button. * NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, click No at the prompt. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M) to your Desktop. * DoubleClick mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install MBA-M. * Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan. * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. * When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt. Reboot the computer. Please Run the ESET Online Scanner and attach the ScanLog with your post for assistance. * You will need to use Internet Explorer to to complete this scan. * You will need to temporarily Disable your current Anti-virus program. * Be sure the option to Remove found threats is Un-checked at this time (we may have it clean what it finds at a later time), and the option to Scan unwanted applications is Checked. * When you have completed that scan, a scanlog ought to have been created and located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt. Please post that log for us as directed below. When you have run all those programs, Reboot the computer once more. Run HJT again and place check marks next to the following entries if still present; R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file) R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {97bceb59-cfcd-4b16-a863-b3f72cf9f196} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {97bceb59-cfcd-4b16-a863-b3f72cf9f196} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YURA8.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURA8.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YURA9.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURA9.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YURAA.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURAA.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YURAB.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURAB.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YUR1.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR1.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YUR2.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR2.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YUR3.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR3.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [\YUR4.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR4.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fcd9ef24] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\irvmhfkh.dll",b O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BMffeadcb8] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\deksncbd.dll",s O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YURA8.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURA8.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YURA9.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURA9.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YURAA.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURAA.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YURAB.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YURAB.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ANTIVIRUS] C:\Program Files\MicroAV\MicroAV.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YUR1.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR1.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YUR2.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR2.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YUR3.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR3.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [\YUR4.exe] C:\Windows\system32\YUR4.exe O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-18\..\Run: [iLike] C:\Program Files\iLike\1.1.41\ilikesidebar.exe /checkforupdate (User 'SYSTEM') O20 - AppInit_DLLs: jarfxq.dll Once you have placed the check marks then click the Fix Checked button.
