solaris virtual machine map a drive
 

Hi guys,

I have vm ware running a solaris 10 machine the host is a vista machine. I have a shared drive on the vista machine and would like to try and mount it in the solaris virtual machine. I have added both to the same private network on vistas networking and sharing center but the vista machine cant see the solaris virtual machine.

The solaris machine can ping the laptop traceroute to it and do a dns lookup on it.

So basically can it do it?

If so how?
