Explorer restarting(scanned, req verification)
 

So the this trite prob affected my comp when my friend downloaded some crack/keygen last evening.....no care at all, silly fellows.....i have to submit my ug project report in a few days and i was terrified on seeing the computer, lest something should happen.......then i referred to this comm and found it appropriately useful.....hav been on the comp till now......i have collected info from the posts below and need you guys to verify the logs.....

I downloaded and scanned twice using Malwarebytes and and removed the infections, after using ATF.......the following is my latest HJT log, succeeded by Malwarebytes log......ESET scanner showed no problems after a painstaking 1.5 hrs........

I am using avast as such.....I actually did a boot scan before referring to the community.....it showed some win32 rootkit......it did not detect spyware/malware......so, suggest some good protection.....spyware blaster or SS and D or anything......and precautions to prevent such infections in future......

You will have to disable Spybot's Teatimer before we begin, as it will interfere with the fix. To do this can you start Spybot and go to the Mode button and select Advanced. Go to Tools > Resident and uncheck the box next to Tea-Timer. Make sure that the icon in the system tray is no longer there. If it is, just right click on it and select "Exit".
Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer.
Do not forget to re-enable teatimer when we are done :).
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.

not anything that i remember doing anything but neways thanx a ton man........can you suggest any spyware/malware protection that has uses lesser cpu resources with reasonable protection.......

I would use spywareblaster and also a Hosts file such as you can find here; http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
MBAM is probably the best, free scanner available today. It can be purchased to give you real-time protection.
