Printing Embedded Icons

Hi everyone,

I have an embedded icon in a JTextPane and i am trying to print the contents of the JTextPane. I am getting the root view of the JTextPane and i am able to print the embedded icon from the the printer but here's the kicker in that it is always printed in the colour yellow no matter what icon it is.

I have tried using professional printing packages as well but still got the same result even when i specify in the printer driver that i want the print out to be in full colour.

This only happens when i use the JTextpane for printing but this does not occur in other JComponents. I have a JPanel and managed to print its contents in full colour.

Is this a bug or something

I hope someone can help me with this

Thank You

Yours Sincerely

Richard West
