help me!!!
 
Hi I just got a brand new used gateway laptop 200 made in 2004. I re-formatted it and now it will not connect to the internet via ethernet but will wirelessly. it tries to connect using wan instead of lan and wont let us get the lan up there please help me. I am lost and all alone . please help. thanks very much.

not sure if i can help but try this
go to control panel then hit internet options click on connections tab and set it for lan see if that helps
