Laptop LCD Problem?

My laptop LCD started looking like it was shakey. The picture just started to scramble. If I apply pressure to the back of the LCD through the lid the screen returns to normal. Is my LCD going bad? Do I have a loose connection somplace? Is it something maybe I am not thinking? Just looking for some opinions. Thanks.

Looks like it's shot...

Cut and dry answer..I know...sorry. But sounds like it's been dropped or given a severe blow or overload. :confused:
