command time output in Linux
 
after compiling my prog i ran it with the command time
time ./a.out
and it gave me this output
real        0m0.844s
user 0m0.172s
sys        0m0.596s

what does this output mean ?

Hahaha :) So you're just running commands for the fun of it without knowing what they actually do or what?
