"corrupted profile- contact system admin" HELP please
 

i only just had windows XP put on my computer, and the first couple of times i loaded it it was fine, but now when i load it i get the message

"Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted. Contact your administrator."

and this means that it cant save my setting so i have to set up everything again each time i use the computer. i dont really have any idea how this has happened, but could someone tell me the way to fix it please, its getting very troublesome! :confused:

Boot into 'Safe Mode' and log in as Administrator.

Create a new user account.

Boot normally and log in as the new user. If you can access the data files stored under the original user account, copy them across to the new account. If not, log in as Administrator again and do so.

The original user account you've been using is stuffed and can't be recovered.
