Sr. Java Engineer for New York area
 

We have a full time opportunity for a Senior Java Engineer to work on a top-tier technical team developing and enhancing existing products for a firm that manages high-speed / low -latency
transactions for the major financial houses.
These are Real - Time, and utilize Front End to Back End
technologies - Front End involves JSF/AJAX/Flex, with Data Base
interfacing; Middle Tier includes JMS and J2EE; The back end focuses
on the Real Time High Speed and Low Latency systems. The systems utilize FIX/ Tibco Technology.
ALL Sr. Staff contribute to brainstorming, contributing
development strategies and solutions as well as throughput
enhancements. Preferred profile:
10 + years overall, 5-7 ideal with Java/ Multi - Tier technologies
Strong skills in J2EE, OO, Design Patterns expertise.
Solid experience with the following:
J2EE Technologies such as EJB, JDBC, JMS and performance tuning
capabilities with Servers; Weblogic, JBOSS; Real Time development.
Front end Web -related development - some combination of technologies including JSF, Struts, JSPs, Javascript, CSS
Major Plusses - Flex, RichFaces; FIX, Tibco
