I need a description about RSS

I build a new Site. In that i want to add Stocks, Weather, News, Sports, some kind of Entertainment things through RSS. I want to know the procedure what is RSS Reader, Where i can best RSS feeds of the above mentioned topics. What is the difference between RSS Reader and RSS Reader. I'm trying to implement from 15 days. Please helpme to solve my problem.

Start using "Google reader" and subscribe for the topics you would like to get regular update.
