Re: Review Request - Web Designer's Website

the front page of your commercial web site should be devoted to the commercial activity.
your friends and family, your twitter are not important
in the context of your commercial page
it should concentrate on your portfolio
the other stuff should be moved off the front page.
Dark text on light background is not just a design choice, it is the way the eye functions, light text on dark ground drives customers away.
the site fails W3C validation(not badly), but is labelled as w3c valid
the site for a web designer has to pass, enough of the potential customer base has access to the validator,
Negative information is more prevalent, more likely to be forwarded to other customers.
there are horizontal scroll bars at less than full screen, the design should self adjust and flow the text and fixed size images regardless of screen res, or window size

I will correct the validation today.

Twitter : Twitter helps me build my network and indirectly supports in business.

Any more feedbacks are welcomed and is going to help me.

Re: Review Request - Web Designer's Website

the ceo of a multinational corporation, large company, small company or sole proprietorship,
sees 'twitter',
and immediately the site becomes something not considered to provide services
As a commercial enterprise the front page must be entirely a commercial enterprise,
"indirectly supports" is a much lower positive effect on your business than the direct negative result of having the object on the front page, to which all your external links point.
Business owners are conservative in their approach, they have the money, there isn't anything else of import.
